Doodlecat was born out of my love for art and design and a demand for quality hand-lettering and signage from businesses who appreciate the authenticity of it. I started decorating chalkboards in 2015 and started Doodlecat LLC in 2016 after receiving an overwhelming amount of requests around Asbury Park and beyond.
With a background in marketing and graphic design, I understand the importance of branding. I work with my clients to incorporate the elements of their business's brand into my original displays.
In addition to painting and design, I also enjoy photography. I am currently putting together a couple of series based on my travels in the past several years.
When I'm not working on artistic endeavors, I spend my free time doing the following:
- Working with Ashley Burk of Steady Hand Creative Co on our community-based mental health series, I Apologize For The Delayed Response (click for more info)
Volunteering at the Monmouth Medical Center as one of the core members of the new Family & Patient Advisory Council, working towards making the hospital experience as comfortable and positive as we can for everyone
- Playing the piano
- and reading 1-star reviews of chain restaurants on Yelp
You can find me assisting at Exhibit No. 9, a contemporary art gallery and print & framing studio in downtown Asbury Park.
I currently reside in Long Branch, NJ.
